Why the platform exists and who stands behind it.
Normina was created to solve a recurring problem: people are increasingly expected to work with sustainability regulation long before they have had a realistic chance to learn it properly. Teams often know the headlines, but not the implications. Students often learn about sustainability in broad terms, but not always through the legal frameworks that increasingly shape products and markets. Normina exists to make that knowledge easier to access, understand, and use.

Who stands behind it
Normina grew out of years of work with sustainable products and the people behind them. At the centre of this journey is White Lobster, the team behind the Green Product Award. For more than 13 years, they have worked with designers, companies, and experts in the field of sustainable impact. Along the way, they have reviewed thousands of projects from 95 countries and gained a broad view of how ideas develop into products that are ready for the market.
What Normina is
Normina is a purpose-built learning platform focused on upcoming EU sustainability laws. It is offered in two versions only: a Company Version and a University Version. Both are built on the same platform logic, but they are designed for different learning contexts and needs.
Why this perspective is credible
The platform focuses on real product- and market-relevant topics, including Extended Producer Responsibility, the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, the Empowering Consumers framework, and Right to Repair. It translates them into learning paths that are easier to follow than scattered articles, one-off talks, or ad hoc internal briefings.
Normina is for organizations and institutions that want more than surface-level familiarity. It is for people who need a clearer, more usable understanding of the legal environment shaping sustainable products in Europe.
